Job Description

Vintel Hotel Parkway LLC is seeking a dedicated Guest Rooms Attendant to help keep the hotel fresh, clean, and ready for guests. This onsite role in Greenville, SC focuses on maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, while following safety and sustainability practices.

In this position, you will clean and sanitize assigned areas, restock supplies and linens, inspect rooms for issues, and support guest comfort through timely, courteous responses. The goal is consistent room readiness and a well-maintained hotel experience every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and other assigned areas according to established standards and procedures.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities to maintain cleanliness and presentation in guest accommodations.
  • Complete general cleaning tasks such as dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
  • Inspect rooms for damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards and report findings to the appropriate department.
  • Restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens while maintaining adequate inventory levels for daily operations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional towels, toiletries, or other amenities.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to prevent accidents, injuries, and the spread of infectious diseases or contaminants.
  • Adhere to environmental sustainability practices, including proper waste disposal, recycling efforts, and energy conservation initiatives to reduce the hotel’s environmental footprint.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests, colleagues, and management in line with the hotel’s brand and values.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff, front desk associates, and maintenance personnel to support coordination and communication across departments.
  • Comply with the company’s grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks and lift or move heavy objects.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while cleaning guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
  • Capacity to lift and carry cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment up to a specified limit (example: 20–30 pounds).
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, and stoop to access high shelves, low surfaces, and tight spaces during cleaning, inventory checks, and inspections.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed tasks such as making beds, folding linens, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Good vision to read labels and cleaning instructions and to assess cleanliness, identify stains or debris, and detect maintenance issues.
  • Adequate hearing to communicate with colleagues and supervisors and to respond to guest requests or inquiries.
  • Sufficient physical stamina to maintain energy and focus during long shifts and complete a high volume of cleaning assignments within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently between tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate different areas of the hotel (including stairs, corridors, and elevators).
  • Good balance and coordination to work safely around obstacles and maintain stability when using ladders or working on elevated surfaces.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature changes, humidity, and exposure to cleaning chemicals, while following safety protocols.

Schedule

  • Full and part-time team members are both needed.

Pay: USD 14 per hour.

Location: Greenville, SC (onsite).
