Host/Greeter

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course is seeking a Host/Greeter to support a smooth and welcoming guest experience. This onsite role combines front-facing guest service with cashiering duties to ensure efficient check-in and check-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and help create a positive, inviting atmosphere
• Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and assisting guests with their needs
• Handle cash transactions accurately and in compliance with company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, including the cashier station and lobby
• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless guest experiences
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for nearby attractions, dining options, and activities
• Address guest issues or concerns with a proactive approach
• Uphold hotel and resort brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture

Required Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• High energy and enthusiasm
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

This position is onsite in Monterey, CA.

Schedule flexibility is required, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

USD 23.00 to USD 23.00 per hour
