Hotel Housekeeper

Hotel Trundle is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help keep our downtown Columbia, SC boutique hotel clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Housekeeping is a key part of the guest experience here, and the team works together to maintain a beautiful environment for every guest who walks through our doors. If you take pride in quality work and enjoy supporting a positive stay, this role is for you.

Pay: From $13.75 per hour
Work Location: In person

What you’ll do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to Hotel Trundle’s standards.
• Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, and mop, and thoroughly clean assigned areas.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest supplies.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and any maintenance or upkeep issues.
• Report damaged items, maintenance concerns, and lost-and-found items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.
• Work efficiently while keeping strong attention to detail.
• Support the goal of creating a memorable stay for every guest.

What we’re looking for

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred, with training available for the right person.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in completing quality work.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required to perform housekeeping duties.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to maintain boutique-hotel standards.
