Hotel Maintenance Technician

Royal Inn Hotel in Royal Palm Beach, FL is hiring a full-time maintenance technician to perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across the property, with weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across the property
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems
• Complete work orders thoroughly, accurately, and on schedule
• Document all maintenance actions and completed work orders, ensuring consistent communication across departments
• Address guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Proactively identify issues and address them before they escalate
• Apply sound judgment to resolve problems independently while upholding hotel standards

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in hotels, apartments, or commercial buildings
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on repair skills across multiple trades
• Proactive, calm, solution-focused mindset
• Pride in workmanship and reliable attendance
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
