Hotel Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Royal Inn Hotel in Royal Palm Beach, FL is hiring a full-time maintenance technician to perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across the property, with weekend and holiday availability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across the property
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems
- Complete work orders thoroughly, accurately, and on schedule
- Document all maintenance actions and completed work orders, ensuring consistent communication across departments
- Address guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Proactively identify issues and address them before they escalate
- Apply sound judgment to resolve problems independently while upholding hotel standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in hotels, apartments, or commercial buildings
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on repair skills across multiple trades
- Proactive, calm, solution-focused mindset
- Pride in workmanship and reliable attendance
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
