Housekeeper

Aloft Silicon Valley Hotel is hiring a Room Attendant to keep guest rooms and public spaces clean, comfortable, and aligned with the property’s quality and performance standards. This is a full-time, onsite role in a hotel setting, with pay at $17.46 per hour (salary range listed as USD 17 - 17 per hourly), and the final rate may reflect experience.

In this position, you will complete room and area cleaning tasks, follow sanitation and safety procedures, and help maintain organized housekeeping spaces throughout the hotel. The schedule includes a typical end time of 4PM, and the role is in person (no remote work).

What you’ll do

• Clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and cleaning public spaces within the hotel.
• Set up, organize, and restock the cleaning cart, and organize linen closets on assigned floors.
• Handle additional assignments as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and completing special guest requests.
• Support other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean, organized work areas and public areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Working knowledge of applicable sanitation standards.
• Ability to respond to guest requests quickly and efficiently.
• Capacity to work at a faster-than-average pace while cleaning a high volume of rooms in a short period.
• Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and ability to work well under pressure.
• No prior experience required; previous housekeeping experience in a similar size hotel is highly desired.
• Must be Eligibile to work in the US.
