Housekeeper

The Hotel Vervana in Bennington, VT is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep guest spaces clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. This full-time or seasonal role is on-site and pays $15.00 to $18.00 per hour on an 8 hour morning shift. What you’ll do

• Complete a range of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Care for assigned rooms and inspect them according to company standards
• Protect cleaning and guest-room equipment, ensuring nothing is missing or inadequate
• Report damages, deficits, and disturbances to supervisors promptly
• Handle reasonable guest complaints or requests with professionalism and patience
• Monitor and maintain stocking levels for consumables, replenishing as needed
• Follow health and safety rules and stay aware of relevant company practices

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and the ability to work independently
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Cleaning experience of 1 year (preferred)
