Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas, including beds, floors, bathrooms, windows, and mirrors.
• Restock supplies to help keep rooms fresh, comfortable, and ready for guests.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow established procedures.
• Maintain an organized, fully stocked supply cart.
• Report maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly.
• Document and secure lost-and-found items.
• Help conserve energy by taking appropriate steps in unoccupied rooms.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests.
• Assist the front desk with guest requests as needed.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and stay informed on day-to-day hotel operations.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping, sanitation, laundry, or guest services is a plus, not required.
• Take pride in delivering friendly, reliable service.
• Flexibility with days, weekends, and holidays due to typical hospitality schedules.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain care in how tasks are performed.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, bend and crouch, walk stairs while carrying items, shovel walkways, stand for extended periods, and work with cleaning products as needed.

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time and part-time positions available, generally working 8:30am to 3:00pm depending on hotel occupancy.
• The hotel operates 24/7/365, so flexibility is important.
• Weekend availability is required; you may not work every weekend, but you may be needed during busy periods.
• Starting pay: $15.00 to $15.50 per hour based on experience.
