Housekeeper/Laundry Worker

The Zion Promenade Hotel in Saint George, UT is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to support daily room cleanliness and high-volume linen processing for a 52-room boutique property. This position combines full-service housekeeping duties with laundry operations, including responding to guest requests and maintaining efficient linen handling.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-service cleaning for guest rooms, including stripping and remaking linens, scrubbing bathrooms, and deep-cleaning floors.
• Arrange room furniture and amenities to meet brand standards.
• Monitor rooms for maintenance needs such as leaks, lightbulbs, or damage, and report issues immediately to the Head Housekeeper.
• Assist with sorting and transporting soiled linens to the laundry facility.
• Support guest requests for extra items in a polite and professional manner.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers, selecting appropriate wash cycles and chemical doses for different fabric types.
• Sort, dry, and fold hotel linens to boutique standards, ensuring linens are free of stains or tears.
• Identify heavily soiled items and pre-treat as needed to help extend the lifespan of the linen inventory.
• Restock housekeeping closets and carts with clean linens throughout the shift.
• Clean dryer lint traps multiple times daily to help prevent fire hazards.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to remain on your feet for an entire shift and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong reliability and attention to detail.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay: USD 16 to 17 per hour.

Pay note: From $16.00 per hour.
