Housekeeping Attendant - Weekend Only

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common areas
• Handle waste disposal and ensure proper disposal of trash
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet maintenance
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Good communication skills to report issues or needs effectively

Job Overview

Part-Time hours with a weekend-only schedule. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and designated spaces to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial services is preferred but not required. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
