Laundry/Public Area Attendant

This role at The Wisconsin Hotel oversees the operation of the property's laundry facilities and the upkeep of public areas at the Baraboo, Wisconsin onsite location.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear.
• Maintain an organized and clean laundry area.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for hotel operations.
• Follow proper chemical handling and laundry procedures.
• Clean and sanitize the lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other guest areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish surfaces throughout the hotel.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and entryways.
• Restock restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous hotel or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
