Position overview

The Lead Player Development Representative greets VIP guests, assists them with promotions, comps, and general questions, and leads outbound telemarketing to share Valley View Casino & Hotel events by phone. This onsite role is designed to combine frontline guest service with proactive outreach to showcase our events and offerings.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet VIP guests and assist with their promotions, comps and general questions.
  • Engage in direct outbound telemarketing to promote Valley View Casino & Hotel events via telephone.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of guest service experience.
  • One year of player development experience or experience developing and maintaining new customer relationships.
  • One year of progressive leadership experience including mentoring, training, and coaching of peers. Completion of six months of participation in the job coach program in the last year can be substituted for the leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Must be able to successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test.
