Lead Day Casino Cleaning Attendant

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a Lead Day Casino Cleaning Attendant to support the property’s Environmental Services (EVS) efforts across both public and back-of-house areas. This onsite role in St. Louis, MO focuses on leading EVS crews and keeping cleaning operations running smoothly while coordinating with guests, team members, and managers.

In this leadership position, you will oversee daily work, help develop the team through training and feedback, and ensure inspection standards are met throughout lobbies, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, food and beverage outlets, and all back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and take responsibility for one or more EVS work crews
• Assist with training, scheduling, and updating station assignments for team members
• Maintain key control and attend leader shift and department meetings
• Help support team evaluations and performance reviews
• Inspect and submit inspections for property lobbies, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, food and beverage outlets, and all back of house areas
• Communicate, delegate tasks, and problem solve effectively with guests, team members, and managers
• Be able to stand for the duration of your shift and remain physically active, including using your hands, crouching, and kneeling; assist with guest needs and help clean public casino areas; EVS team members must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of EVS experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred
• Good customer service skills and English fluency required
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy, confidence, and professionalism strongly preferred

Compensation & Shift

• $18.00 per hour
• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
