Main Banker I

Main Banker support for accurate cash handling and accountable daily cage operations at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland in Hanover, MD.

Responsibilities

• Service all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
• Maintain cash drawer balance and ensure funds are properly “impressed.”
• Complete Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs.
• Keep accurate records across all assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verify and document personal ID information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
• Perform exchanges with Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
• C ash out customers and provide correct change.
• Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
• Clean and wash chips.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: One (1) year cashier or banking experience preferred.
• Flexibility to adjust to the work schedule as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required license mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise and visual distractions.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of all service areas, including front window, marker bank, Chip Bank, and main vault.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
• Ability to complete, perform, and understand basic mathematical functions.
