Night Audit - Hotel Front Desk Agent

Midwest Hotel is hiring a full-time Night Audit - Hotel Front Desk Agent to be a reliable, guest-facing presence in Mishawaka, IN. If you enjoy steady hands-on work that keeps operations running smoothly through the night, this role combines front desk service with accurate night audit responsibilities. Location: Mishawaka, IN (onsite)
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Schedule: 40.0 - 45.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and support check-in and check-out procedures.
• Register guests by collecting the required information, including contact details and exact dates of stay.
• Handle guest inquiries and share information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Manage reservations and keep accurate records in the hotel management system.
• Perform night audits to confirm financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Address guest complaints or concerns promptly to support satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area, including keeping supplies stocked.
• Keep the lobby and breakfast areas tidy and welcoming.
• Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to support the guest experience.
• Use phone systems to manage incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Inspect all rooms before check-in and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
• Experience with hotel reservations software and the hotel management system.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including hotel management practices.
• Front desk experience in a resort or hotel environment is preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
• A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guests.
