Night Auditor

Working the overnight shift requires both steadiness and attention to detail, especially when it comes to guest service and accurate hotel operations. At Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City, this role supports the property during night hours through front desk coverage, payment processing, night audits, and on-the-spot assistance for guests. You will also help maintain a secure, welcoming environment while coordinating with other departments as needed.

This position is based onsite in Kansas City, KS and supports smooth operation throughout the evening and overnight periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle front desk duties including guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
• Perform night audits to verify the accuracy of guest accounts and address any discrepancies
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and issues that arise during overnight hours
• Help ensure safety and security of the hotel premises during the night
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming, positive atmosphere
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and support a seamless experience
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively

Requirements

• Prior cash handling experience is necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
