Support nighttime operations as a Night Auditor at Hotel Indigo in Gatlinburg, TN (onsite) on a part-time schedule.

Review guaranteed arrivals and confirm each guest’s credit card is valid by running numbers that are not already in house
Ensure day-use rooms are marked in the computer as dirty so housekeeping can complete cleaning
Support guest check-in by explaining and providing promotional items to each guest
Explain hotel amenities to guests, including free breakfast, spa, fitness center, and voice mail
Document new commercial customer arrivals to support opening a new account
Check why rooms are blocked, ask maintenance to resolve issues, and help unblock rooms
Verify rollaway beds and cribs are located where shown on the computer
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints
Provide an alternate solution when guest demand cannot be met
Cover other areas of the hotel as needed during the night shift
Complete documentation for guest accidents by filling out the accident report form
Complete the maintenance log when a complaint is reported
Maintain the front desk areas clean, organized, and ready for guests
Initiate a friendly, warm greeting for incoming guests
Perform other duties as assigned

High School diploma/GED required
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Customer service experience required
Experience handling cash and credit card procedures, with ability to use math concepts
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of the hotel layout, amenities, and all procedures and organization
Local area knowledge including area businesses and services, major highway/street information, and community events and attractions
