Responsibilities

• Adhere to The Post Oak Hotel's Forbes 5 star processes and standards
• Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments
• Clean public and employee restrooms, glass surfaces in public and employee areas, and floor surfaces in public or employee spaces
• Dust surfaces in the assigned area
• Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers
• Inspect furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages; identify and report maintenance needs in public areas or guest rooms
• Clean and maintain lighting fixtures
• Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of experience preferred; previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance; may require assistance for heavier weights
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces

Pay Range

USD 15.00 per hour
