Job Description

Loews Arlington Hotel in Arlington, TX is seeking a Public Area Attendant to help keep guest spaces clean, safe, and inviting. This onsite role focuses on maintaining high-standards public areas while supporting daily hotel operations through careful upkeep, supply organization, and responsive issue reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep public spaces immaculate, including lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells, so guests feel welcome.
  • Stock and organize housekeeping supplies, ensuring storerooms remain neat and secure.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to help maintain the property in top condition.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, in line with all guidelines.
  • Assist guests with accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with the team to support seamless operations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Follow OSHA safety protocols and hotel standards for emergency procedures and chemical handling.
  • Maintain regular attendance in conformance with established standards.
  • Be available for varying schedules as business needs require.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Cleaning experience (preferred).
  • Hotel or resort experience (preferred).
  • Basic English skills (preferred).
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend.
  • Ability to push, lift, and pull items up to 25 lbs repetitively during the entire shift.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
