Public Area Cleaner Lead
Job Description
Oversee daily upkeep of resort public spaces while leading a team to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest-ready presentation.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Seven Feathers’ standard for exceptional guest service across all public areas.
- Monitor public spaces for cleanliness and safety; report maintenance issues, hazards, or unusual activity promptly.
- Handle guest and staff requests quickly and courteously, supporting service recovery when needed.
- Assist guests when possible with comments, questions, or concerns; refer to management as appropriate to support continuous guest service.
- Supervise, train, and support Public Area Attendants to complete daily cleaning and maintenance tasks across all public spaces.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hospitality operations.
- Leadership or trainer experience preferred.
- Recreation personnel should know how to swim.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions.
- Good manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and clear vision.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
- Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance per available standards; maintain a motivated team attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
