Overview

Onsite at The Whitney Hotel in Boston, MA. Opportunity: Room Attendant. Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome during all interactions.
• Clean guest rooms to established standards within the allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other in-room amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, walls, and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager when repairs are needed.
• Handle items left by guests in rooms per the lost and found policy.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear required protective gear, and follow MSDS and OSHA guidelines.
• Take on house person and lobby attendant tasks during staffing shortages or peak times.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and strive to improve departmental and overall satisfaction.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

Salary

USD 25 per hour
