Responsibilities
- Make beds, replenish linens, clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and hallways, and vacuum floors.
- Load and unload the housekeeping cart with supplies.
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report any issues and maintenance needs promptly to supervision.
- Keep your supervisor informed about room status, progress, and guest requests or issues.
- Submit all found items to the lost and found log.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross training.
- Work within established time frames for each task.
- Meet brand standard room cleaning times.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate respect for colleagues and foster a positive, productive, teamwork-focused environment.
Requirements
- Criminal background check is required.
- Compliance with hotel safety standards and PPE requirements when operating equipment (eye, hearing, hand protection).
- Ability to lift and carry about 20 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk up to roughly two miles per day across cement, tile, asphalt, and carpeted surfaces.
- Frequent reaching and overhead extension to access items; push and pull tasks typically up to 50 lbs, with occasional loads up to 150 lbs.
- Repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting motions.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.
- Adherence to hotel safety standards and PPE guidelines during equipment use.
