Room Attendant

Fairlane Hotel in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part Time Room Attendant who will help maintain a consistently clean, stocked, and welcoming guest environment. In this on-property role, you will work both independently and alongside your team to support a high standard of room readiness and overall hotel presentation.

This position focuses on day-to-day room and area upkeep, careful attention to supplies, and clear communication with supervisors and other departments to ensure everything is handled promptly and correctly.

What you will do

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
• Clean kitchen areas, refrigerators, coffee makers, and dishware as applicable
• Notify your supervisor when room service is complete so rooms can be sold or occupied
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities to minimize waste
• Report, log, and turn in lost and found items according to established procedures
• Assist with training and developing fellow team members to improve productivity
• Support teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments
• When your assigned duties are finished, assist others to support housekeeping and laundry efforts
• Report maintenance or room issues to supervisors or engineering staff

What you bring

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout guest floors for extended periods; lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs regularly

Preferred experience

• Prior housekeeping experience
• Experience in a luxury or boutique hotel setting

Schedule and location

• Onsite role in Nashville, TN
• Varying shifts that may include weekends and holidays

Pay

• USD 16 - 18 per hour
• Part time
