Room Attendant

Oxford Casino · Hotel & Sportsbook is hiring a Room Attendant onsite in Oxford, ME.

• Hourly pay: USD 15–18 (+ tips)
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Schedule: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean hotel rooms and bathrooms in line with department procedures
• Sort, count, fold, and/or carry linens for guest bed preparation
• Stock housekeeping carts with supplies
• Replenish in-room and bathroom supplies according to hotel procedures
• Dust furniture; wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Wash windows and sills; clean door panels
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the designated waste disposal area
• Report problems immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager
• Turn in any lost and found items so they can be logged
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Interact with guests on occasion while cleaning the guest room
• Promote outstanding customer relations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and follow direction
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs repeatedly

• Frequently walking and standing
• Regular bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling
• Carrying and climbing as needed to perform job duties
