Ambassador

Hotel La Croix in Honolulu, HI is seeking an Ambassador for a blended role that combines valet parking support with guest-facing ambassador service. The position centers on delivering a consistent love and aloha guest experience before, during, and after each stay.

Role Overview

In this onsite position, you serve as a primary point of contact for guest experience across the full stay cycle. The role blends valet-related tasks, guest engagement, and coordination with hotel departments to maintain service quality and help ensure a high standard of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the point person for guest experience before, during, and after stays.
• Own the guest experience by delivering personalized, memorable service for each guest.
• Retrieve and park cars as needed.
• Engage with guests to provide a love and aloha experience.
• Deliver anticipatory service by seeking to understand guests’ needs.
• Communicate with the appropriate departments regarding guest issues.
• Resolve guest issues in a calm and professional manner, providing solutions and supporting a 5-star guest experience.
• Build relationships with guests and provide services or recommendations related to dining, shopping, activities, taxi and shuttle options, and wake-up calls.
• Stay self-motivated to improve performance each day.
• Maintain pride in the work environment by keeping the front desk and lobby areas clean, organized, and ready for guests.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Customer Service: 1 year (Required).
• Hotel experience: 2 years (Required).
• Driver’s License.
• Hawaii Driver’s License (Required).
• Successful completion of a mandatory drug test prior to the start of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hospitality, retail, valet, or F&B experience.
• Open availability preferred, as guest experience operates 24/7.
• College degree in Travel Industry Management, Business, or equivalent.
• Positive, cheerful attitude; pleasant personality; enjoyment of meeting people from around the world and helping others.

Schedule and Work Details

• Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) and Night Shift (Required).
• Work location: In person.
• Application question: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with a fully flexible schedule.

Compensation

USD 20 - 23 per hour (hourly).
