Onsite Bell Person role in Montgomery, AL at Elevation Convening Center & Hotel.

Move guest luggage, trunks, and packages to and from guest rooms, loading areas, vehicles, and transportation terminals by hand or with baggage carts.
Greet arriving guests and escort them to their rooms.
Receive and process baggage by completing and attaching baggage claim checks (marking/tagging as required).
Provide directions and travel/property information, including available services and points of interest.
Support secure guest room access in line with hotel standards.
Assist travelers with special needs, including physically challenged guests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel and department policies, procedures, and service expectations.
Answer the departmental telephone within 3 rings, using appropriate salutations and telephone etiquette.
Handle guest requests with urgency and courtesy; coordinate follow-up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion.
Record guest calls and requests for Bellman assistance.
Accommodate guest requests accurately and efficiently.
Assist with group luggage requirements.
Keep departmental equipment and supplies clean and in working condition.
Maintain the appearance and condition of the Lobby, Hotel Entrances, and Luggage storage areas.
Ensure all relevant information is documented in the logbook daily.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to focus on guest needs, staying calm and courteous at all times.
Ability to think clearly and quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Customer service experience in a hotel setting is required.
