Experienced Hotel Housekeeper

Best Western Bolingbrook Hotel is seeking an Experienced Hotel Housekeeper to support a consistently clean, comfortable environment for guests and team members. This is a paid, in-person role focused on maintaining high standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures, to meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Complete laundry tasks efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to ensure availability and quality.
• Restock supplies including toiletries, towels, and amenities to support a smooth guest experience.
• Perform routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, and report them promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment for floor care, industrial cleaning tasks, and janitorial duties.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times to support a safe environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures, hospitality standards, and speed expectations.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment in industrial or commercial environments.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Effective time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Experience with housekeeping time management or the ability to work independently.

Pay

From $15.50 per hour

Salary: USD 15 per hourly
