Front Desk Agent

Join a team at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol in Bristol, VA (onsite) and support smooth guest experiences from the front desk. This Front Desk Agent role offers a comprehensive benefits package plus Team Member Benefits (see www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits), with an $14 - $19/hour pay range.

Responsibilities

Working under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, you will help keep room information current and support guest departures and related front desk tasks.

• Check out any vacant and clean (due out) rooms and update room statuses in the rack.
• Run alert date reports.
• Review out-of-order and off-market rooms daily to ensure validity.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest requests.
• Assist with guest check-outs via video check-out.
• Provide bell assistance to each guest upon departure and run applicable reports to verify correct room rates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum front desk/hotel experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong mathematical skills specific to position responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Vision abilities required: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands include frequently standing, walking, using hands to finger/handle/feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, and tasting or smelling.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. You may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public. These conditions are representative of what you may encounter while performing essential job functions.

Pay range: $14 - $19/Hourly.
