Hotel Paseo is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at our Palm Desert, CA location. Front desk responsibilities

You will set the tone for the guest experience from check-in to checkout by providing warm, efficient service and handling needs as they come up.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences from check-in to checkout
• Handle reservations, inquiries, and complaints using hotel systems
• Stay composed and professional under pressure while resolving guest issues effectively
• Build strong guest relationships using personalized service and local knowledge
• Communicate clearly in person and on the phone
• Accurately manage financial transactions and maintain cash handling responsibilities
• Multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Support overall operations by completing administrative duties

Requirements for the role

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior guest/customer service experience required, preferably in hospitality
• Ability to work independently with good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong English communication skills: read, listen, and communicate verbally and in writing
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and to work under pressure

Pay: USD 18 - 18 per hour (pay estimate: $18.45/Hour)
