Guest Experience Host

Hotel La Croix in Honolulu is seeking a Guest Experience Host to support travelers with Love + Aloha throughout their stay. In this onsite role, you act as the main point of contact before arrival, during the visit, and after guests check out, helping deliver a personalized, memorable hospitality experience with a focus on calm, professional service.

Role Overview

• Serve as the point person for the guest experience pre, during, and post stay.
• Take ownership of delivering a personalized, memorable experience for each guest.
• Engage with guests to offer a Love + Aloha experience.
• Provide anticipatory service by seeking to understand guest needs.
• Communicate with the appropriate departments when guest issues arise.
• Make reservations and support guests throughout the reservations and prearrival process.
• Resolve guest concerns in a calm and professional manner, providing solutions to maintain a 5-star experience.
• Build guest relationships and provide recommendations for dining, shopping, activities, taxi, shuttles, and wake-up calls.
• Stay self motivated to improve each day.
• Maintain pride in the workplace by keeping the front desk and lobby areas clean and well organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (also noted: Bachelor’s preferred; college degree in Travel Industry Management, Business, or equivalent).
• Hotel experience: 1 year (required).
• Customer service experience: 1 year (required).
• Hospitality, retail, hotel, or F&B experience.
• Open availability preferred, with guest experience operating 24/7 and full flexibility.
• Positive, cheerful attitude and a pleasant personality; enjoys meeting people from all over the world and helping others.
• Experience with Hotel PMS is a plus.
• Schedule flexibility to work various shifts in a work week, including AM, PM, and overnight.

• Ability to commute: Honolulu, HI 96815 (required)
• Shift availability: Day Shift (required), Night Shift (required), Overnight Shift (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: USD $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
