Pay

$13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Onsite in Herriman, UT (In person)

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and breakfast areas by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely by following procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and complying with safety regulations.
• Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and janitorial tools efficiently to achieve optimal results.
• Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies to facilitate efficient cleaning routines.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff at all times.
• Manage custodial supplies inventory and report maintenance or repair needs promptly to housekeeping management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning and chemical handling.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical agents used in cleaning.
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.
