Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Hotel Phillips in Kansas City, MO, onsite, is seeking a detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain clean, inviting guest rooms and assist guests with inquiries in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for cleaning and servicing
• Turn and dress beds to reflect standard housekeeping practices
• Dust surfaces, fixtures, and furniture
• Restock guest rooms and bathrooms with supplies
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Organize and tidy closets as needed
• Vacuum floors and manage carpeted areas
• Inspect rooms and secure them after cleaning
• Provide and collect loan items for guests, such as irons and ironing boards
• Keep public areas like hallways clean and orderly
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sustain extended periods of walking, standing, or sitting
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Handle guest calls, requests, and complaints within the assigned area
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma preferred
• Prior hotel experience desired
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products is a plus
• Professional demeanor and attitude required
