Hotel Housekeeping Director

Join CAMBRIA HOTEL in Bend, OR (onsite) and lead the housekeeping and laundry operations that help create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for every guest. This Hotel Housekeeping Director role combines day-to-day leadership with the chance to make service consistency happen through clear standards, organized workflows, and a supportive team culture.

What You’ll Do

As Hotel Housekeeping Director, you will oversee daily housekeeping and laundry work covering guest rooms and shared spaces, along with custodial, janitorial, and back-of-house cleaning needs. Your focus is on maintaining dependable cleanliness and sanitation standards while coordinating teams, assignments, and supplies to keep operations moving smoothly.

• Direct housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, and laundry operations, including schedules, assignments, inspections, and supply coordination.
• Hire, supervise, and develop housekeeping staff; set expectations, coach performance, and support effective team management.
• Establish and monitor cleaning and sanitation procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Follow safety regulations and safe work practices, including when overseeing commercial or industrial cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to resolve service concerns and maintain clear, timely managerial communication.

What You Bring

• Leadership and management: leadership, management, housekeeping management, and team and staff supervision experience.
• Customer-focused communication: customer service and hospitality experience, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Cleaning and sanitation knowledge: knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and cleaning and sanitation management.
• Operational readiness: ability to organize daily priorities, guide teams, and uphold safety regulations in a busy hotel environment.

Preferred experience includes custodial experience, janitorial experience, commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, and laundry operations.

Pay and Location

$55,000.00 per year
