Housekeeper

Magnuson Copper Crown Hotel is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers for our onsite team in Hancock, MI. This role supports a welcoming, well-kept guest experience by keeping rooms and shared spaces clean, comfortable, and ready for arrivals. • Starting wage: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour, based on experience.

You’ll be part of a 24/7/365 operation, where your attention to detail helps guests feel at home.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas, including beds, floors, bathrooms, windows, and mirrors.
• Restock supplies so rooms are fresh, comfortable, and guest-ready.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow required procedures.
• Keep your supply cart organized and fully stocked for smooth, efficient service.
• Report maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly.
• Document and secure lost-and-found items according to hotel process.
• Help conserve energy by checking and managing unoccupied rooms.
• Provide friendly, professional guest interactions as needed.
• Assist the front desk with guest requests when required.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and stay informed on hotel operations.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping, sanitation, laundry, or guest services is a plus, not required.
• Take pride in delivering friendly, reliable service to every guest.
• Flexibility with days, weekends, and holidays (typical in hospitality).
• Follow safe work practices and care in how you do your job.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; bend and crouch; walk stairs while carrying items; shovel walkways; stand for extended periods; and work with cleaning products as needed.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Generally working 8:30am to 3:00pm, depending on hotel occupancy.
• Weekend availability is required. You won’t be expected to work every weekend, but during busy periods you may be needed.
• As a 24/7/365 operation, flexibility is important.
