Maintenance Engineer

Lenox Hotel in Boston, MA is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help keep the property running smoothly, from guest spaces to back-of-house systems. What you’ll be doing

You will provide preventative maintenance and repairs across the hotel, supporting guest experiences throughout:

• Common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, fitness center, and hotel guestrooms
• Ongoing oversight and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• General property upkeep and responsive problem-solving as issues come up

Day-to-day work also includes strong teamwork and communication. You will interact with hotel guests, assist with hotel vendors, and collaborate with multiple departments including the front desk, food and beverage, and housekeeping.

Schedule and shift details

• Maintenance Engineers may work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• A flexible schedule is required
• Candidates with availability to work 3pm–11pm are encouraged to apply

What we need from you

• 1+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• At times, ability to reach, lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, manipulate, or otherwise move objects
• Occasional bending, squatting, navigating stairs and ladders, twisting, and turning
• Ability to stand for up to six (6) hours at a time
• Multi-lingual skills are a plus
• Flexible availability covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays
