Job Description

The Marketing Specialist will join Pyramid Hotel Group to support the OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park in Oklahoma City. This onsite role focuses on executing an integrated marketing strategy across digital, social, website, email, advertising, and on-property channels, with responsibilities spanning website content management, SEO and AI Search optimization, campaigns, content creation, and brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Support OKANA's integrated marketing strategy across digital, social, website, email, advertising, and on-property channels.
  • Manage website content and functionality, assist with SEO and AI Search optimization, coordinate creative projects, develop marketing assets, execute campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across guest touchpoints.
  • Maintain website content, updates, landing pages, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Implement SEO strategy and AI Search optimization to boost organic visibility and search performance.
  • Assist in designing digital and print marketing materials including signage, email graphics, presentations, and promotional collateral while upholding brand standards.
  • Coordinate photo shoots, video shoots, and content creation projects.
  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and support CRM initiatives.
  • Monitor the resort's online reputation by timely responses to guest reviews across outlets.
  • Assist with digital advertising asset management and campaign execution.
  • Support resort events, promotions, grand openings, and on-property activations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to drive marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain digital asset libraries, marketing inventories, and brand standards.
  • Stay current on industry trends, marketing technology, SEO, and AI Search developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of marketing experience; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, AI Search optimization, Google Analytics (GA4), CMS, and social media platforms.
  • Experience managing website content and functionality.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Revinate, Mailchimp, or similar) preferred.
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva strongly preferred.
  • Photography and basic video editing skills a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong proofreading ability.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and marketing software.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute efficiently.
