Minibar Attendant
Job Description
Part time Minibar Attendant position in Houston, TX onsite, focused on restocking, monitoring, and charging for minibar items in guest rooms while maintaining inventory and delivering courteous service.
Responsibilities
- Refill minibars in guest rooms according to established hotel standards and procedures.
- Track minibar stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate team.
- Document minibar usage accurately and process guest charges accordingly.
- Ensure all minibar items are fresh, properly labeled, and within their expiration dates.
- Maintain clean, organized minibar storage areas and secure stocking materials.
- Report maintenance or operational issues observed in guest rooms.
- Deliver courteous, discreet service while respecting guest privacy.
- Access guest rooms during stays and after checkout to replenish items and process charges for minibar consumption.
- Assist in the development and implementation of special projects as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest comments or concerns and inform a supervisor, helping implement corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Solid basic math proficiency for inventory tracking and guest charges.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
