Job Description

Join a fast-paced casino team where accuracy, guest service, and responsible cash handling are at the center of every shift. As a Poker Event Cashier at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, FL (onsite), you will support poker tournament operations by processing high-volume transactions and assisting with tournament entry sales, while following established Cage procedures and federal Title 31 requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Adhere to Seminole Tribe Policies and Procedures.
  • Handle the imprest bank issued for the shift.
  • Process guest and in-house monetary transactions accurately.
  • Support sale of tournament entries and promotional events.
  • Comply with federal Title 31 procedures as required by the role.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year of prior cash handling experience in a customer service position.
  • Current team members with cash handling experience and a casino license are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be fully flexible regarding scheduling requirements.

Work environment and physical demands

  • May be exposed to casino environmental factors such as secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, including reaching with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to talk and hear and taste or smell while performing duties.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy, with constant exposure to the general public.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English with guests, aligned to position duties and responsibilities.

Licensing and background checks

Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended. This includes a credit check and criminal background check.
