Public Area Attendant

What You’ll Do

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel’s public areas while assisting with basic housekeeping and laundry tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring supplies are stocked and that public spaces meet hotel standards for cleanliness and guest comfort.

• Use chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment properly
• Keep guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted
• Clean and maintain mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, landing stairwells, and linen storage rooms
• Remove trash from public areas
• Assist laundry by sorting linen for washing
• Perform deep cleaning for floors in public areas
• Ensure housekeeping closets on each floor are fully stocked
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked
• Clean all public areas to meet hotel standards

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience cleaning in a restaurant, hotel, or convention space
• Ability to speak English
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• U.S. work authorization (required)

Compensation: $14 per hour.
