Room Attendant

Hotel Figueroa is seeking a Room Attendant to help keep every guestroom clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This onsite role in Los Angeles, CA focuses on detail-driven housekeeping and consistent service that supports guest satisfaction.

As part of the housekeeping team, you will follow hotel standards to refresh guestrooms and keep shared spaces in excellent condition. The position is paid USD 31 per hour.

What you’ll do

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms in line with established standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties, including setting up the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in hallways, public areas, and closets, including vacuuming.
• Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use.
• Replenish chemical bottles as needed.
• Report missing items from rooms (such as irons/boards or hair dryers) to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle “Lost and Found” items according to hotel standards.
• Contribute to overall guest satisfaction through attentive, efficient service.

What you bring

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, service-oriented manner.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.
