Room Attendant Extra

Loews Regency Hotel in New York, NY is seeking a detail-focused Room Attendant Extra who helps keep guest accommodations fresh, clean, and sanitized according to Loews Hotels standards. In this on-site role, you’ll also support smooth day-to-day operations through professional room readiness, clear reporting, and guest interactions that are friendly and helpful.

You’ll handle room and bathroom cleaning with consistent attention to detail, keep your work area organized, and follow OSHA safety protocols for chemical use and emergency situations. Regular attendance is essential, and schedules may vary based on business needs, with mandatory training and meetings included.

What you’ll do

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels standards.
• Replace linens and amenities, and promptly report maintenance needs or issues.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that support satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• Be available to work varying schedules as business needs require.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items up to 25 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
