Afternoon Tea Service Attendant

Seasonal Afternoon Tea Service Attendant role at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA (onsite). In this position, you’ll support Afternoon Tea service by providing attentive, courteous guest interactions while helping maintain a clean, organized dining environment and following established food safety standards.

Working an afternoon service window, you will assist with set-up and service flow, deliver tea and food items promptly, and communicate with team members to keep service running smoothly. The ideal fit combines professionalism, organization, and responsiveness to guest requests.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with setting up, maintaining, and resetting tables and service areas for Afternoon Tea.
• Provide attentive, courteous service throughout the guest tea experience.
• Deliver tea, food, and other service items promptly and accurately.
• Keep the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Restock service items and supplies as needed.
• Communicate with team members to support smooth, efficient service.
• Respond to guest requests and assist with special needs or preferences.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and service standards.

Schedule and Key Availability

• Must be available Monday through Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

• Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Neat, well-groomed, and polished appearance.

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and perform light physical tasks as needed.

Compensation: USD 13 to 15 per hour.
