Breakfast Attendant

The Breakfast Attendant supports the hotel's morning dining service at The Cranberry, a Choice Ascend Collection Hotel, located onsite in Morgantown, West Virginia. This part-time position involves maintaining the breakfast area, stocking and presenting the buffet, and assisting guests. Compensation is USD 13 - 15 per hour and a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Summary

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for maintaining the breakfast area cleanliness, stocking and presenting the buffet, and assisting guests. The role also upholds the company cleanliness standards and HACCP Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Rotate stock to maintain freshness as an essential duty.
• Sanitize and clean all breakfast stations and work surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down all room surfaces, including windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
• Mop all floors in the breakfast area.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Ensure the buffet is set according to that day’s standards.
• Maintain a clean and stocked personal workstation.
• Offer guests assistance whenever possible.
• Manage bussing duties and keep the breakfast cafe clean and presentable for guests.
• Answer inquiries regarding hotel policies and services.
• Complete daily orders and prep work for the next day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant work experience required.
• Restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25 to 50 pounds frequently.
