Dog Groomer/Stylist

Petrock Hotel & Spa is hiring a Dog Groomer/Stylist to provide full grooming services at its Encino, CA location. This is an in-person contract role focused on delivering breed-appropriate haircuts and complete finishing services for dogs of different sizes, coats, and temperaments.

The position is part-time with the possibility of full-time and includes 50/50 paid commission plus tips. The schedule requires weekend availability, with day-to-day work centered on handling 4 to 10 haircuts per day in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle ALL haircuts at the Encino location
• Style different breeds with breed-appropriate grooming
• Brush, bathe, and blow-dry pets
• Express glands
• Trim and file nails
• Pluck ear hair
• De-matt and finish coat care
• Brush teeth

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of breed cut experience
• Comfort working in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledgeable about all breed cuts
• Experience handling 4-10 haircuts per day
• Ability to groom all breeds/sizes/coats/temperaments
• Availability on weekends
• In-person work at the Encino location
• Experience with cats is a plus

Compensation

• Commission: 50/50
• Tips: available
• Weekly pay range: USD 800 - 2,000 per week
