Expo/Food Runner

At The Riverside Hotel in Boise, the Expo/Food Runner plays an important front-of-house support role in the casual dining restaurant environment. This position helps keep service moving smoothly by coordinating guest seating and ticketing, supporting servers during dining rushes, and assisting with buffet and salad bar setup, replenishment, and breakdown.

Located in Garden City, ID and working onsite, the role is available full-time or part-time with weekend availability. The pay rate starts at $15.00 per hour, with an evening shift schedule.

What you’ll do

• Seat incoming guests, ring up guest tickets, and assist servers as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Help set up and break down buffets and salad bars, and notify kitchen staff when replenishment is needed.
• Complete side work as directed by the supervisor.

What you’ll need

• Minimum six months of customer service experience required; cash handling experience preferred.
• Barista experience helpful.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
