Facilities Supervisor

Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland is hiring a Facilities Supervisor for our Hanover, MD property. In this onsite role, you will help keep the building operating smoothly by coordinating maintenance, preventative programs, and vendor support, while leading overnight facilities coverage from 11pm to 8am. What You’ll Do

Oversee day-to-day facilities operations to support a high-volume, guest-facing environment. You will coordinate preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections, lead inspections to uncover improvement opportunities, and work directly with team members to address issues.

• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections
• Coach maintenance staff to build skills and support team member development
• Operate the central utility plant, including duel-fuel boilers, centrifugal chillers, medium voltage switchgear, and diesel generators
• Coordinate small projects scheduling with other departments and vendors as needed
• Perform regular inspections to identify areas of need and drive resolution with the team
• Track material and parts stock
• Oversee facilities systems and lead overnight shift work from 11pm to 8am
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of Casino and/or Food Service operations
• Outstanding guest service skills in person and over the phone
• Ability to manage subordinate team members and build strong working relationships across Casino departments/restaurant outlets and with the Executive Team
• Proficiency using a 10-key adding machine, fax, scanner, and Microsoft Office plus department-specific programs
• Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience leading or supervising facility maintenance staff
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency

Role Details

• Location: Hanover, MD (onsite)
• Pay: USD 24 - 34 per hourly
• Experience: 3 years minimum
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Technologies: 10-key adding machine, fax, scanner, Microsoft Office

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and reach
• Ability to use legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to use stairs and elevators
