Full Service Hotel Housekeeper / Room Attendant

The Full Service Hotel Housekeeper / Room Attendant works onsite in Vancouver, WA, providing thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. The role includes daily room servicing, stocking carts, replacing linens, and replenishing amenities while following safety procedures. Deep cleaning tasks may be performed in conjunction with preventative maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and colleagues in a courteous, service‑oriented manner.
• Maintain reliable attendance in line with Indigo One LLC standards and the hotel’s scheduling needs.
• Uphold professional appearance and grooming, including the correct uniform and visible name tag, per brand standards.
• Adhere to Indigo One, LLC policies to foster safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Clean and replenish the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
• Finish pre-cleaning tasks, including stocking guest supplies, cleaning products, and linen for housekeeping carts.
• Remove trash and soiled linen from guest rooms.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
• May require disassembling furniture or room items to enable deep cleaning.
• Deep cleaning tasks may include changing the AC filter, cleaning the AC coils, touching up paint on walls and molding, addressing scratched furniture, or rehanging closed sliding doors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to convey information clearly and select among available options quickly and accurately.
• Capability to work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
