Hotel Viata is seeking a Host to support smooth, welcoming service from the moment guests arrive. This front-of-house role focuses on great guest relations, accurate reservation management, and clear communication during busy dining periods, helping create an excellent overall experience.

Location: West Lake Hills, TX (onsite)
Pay: USD 15 - 15 per hour

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests with a friendly approach, guide them to their tables, and support a seamless start to their dining experience
• Manage reservations efficiently using Point of Sale systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Keep an organized waiting list during peak times and communicate expected wait times clearly to guests
• Coordinate with serving staff to help ensure timely service and strong guest satisfaction throughout the visit
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, provide information about menu offerings, and make reservations as needed
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance the overall experience
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area

What you bring

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
• Excellent communication abilities, including both verbal and non-verbal communication

Preferred qualifications
