Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to maintain smooth service and high standards
- Lead, supervise, and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining a positive work environment
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, and apply strategies to maximize revenue while controlling costs
- Use property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and guest management
- Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, safety regulations, and company policies across all departments
- Develop and implement training programs focused on customer service excellence, phone etiquette (including multi-line phone systems), and operational procedures
- Strengthen guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and supporting stays that encourage repeat business
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives
- Oversee night audit processes to support accurate end-of-day financial reporting and reconciliation
- Lead revenue management initiatives to optimize occupancy rates and profitability in a competitive market
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability managing budgets, financial operations, and revenue strategies in a hospitality environment
- Proficiency with PMS, hospitality reservation systems, and other property management tools
- Excellent managerial communication skills and the ability to lead diverse teams
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Experience handling human resources functions such as staffing, training, and performance management
- Knowledge of hotel guest service standards, front desk operations, and night audit procedures (resort or hotel experience preferred)
- Strong leadership qualities to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of guest relations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while fostering a positive work culture
