Overview

The Housekeeping Specialist will be responsible for cleaning the hotel rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and public spaces, contributing to the hotel’s reputation as a premier luxury destination.

Responsibilities

• Keep guest corridors in pristine, inviting condition with consistent cleaning and attention to detail
• Fulfills guest requests and arranges furniture items in guest rooms as requested
• Remove items from hallways and transport to designated areas, including debris, room service trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash
• Mop and vacuum all guest corridors to maintain a spotless appearance
• Wipe down and dust walls, light sconces, glass surfaces, and fixtures in the guest corridors
• Empty trash from corridor bins and ensure proper disposal

Requirements

• Commitment to our values of being passionate, striving for excellence, staying relevant, collaborating, and acting with honor and integrity
• 1 year of previous customer service or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of Forbes 4/5 Star service standards is preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Move, lift, carry, and place items weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, with assistance for heavier items
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over sloping or uneven surfaces
• Reach overhead and below the knees, with bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as part of daily tasks

Pay range

USD 15.00 per hour
