Human Resources Manager

The Miners 1928 Hotel is seeking an experienced, organized, and approachable Part-Time Human Resources Manager to support a growing hospitality team. This position is on-site in Pottsville, PA and focuses on recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and HR documentation using ADP.

Role Overview

As the Human Resources Manager, you will help manage core HR functions for hotel, food and beverage, and event staffing. The role includes maintaining accurate HR records, supporting employee benefits enrollment, contributing to employment policy documentation, and assisting management with employee relations and performance-related matters. You will also support ongoing compliance efforts and help establish organized, consistent HR processes as the hotel continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the hiring and recruitment process for hotel, food and beverage, and event staff
• Coordinate new employee onboarding and maintain employee records
• Handle employee information, payroll-related HR functions, and administrative tasks through ADP
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, respond to benefits questions, and support ongoing benefits administration
• Develop, maintain, and communicate company employment policies and procedures
• Ensure HR policies and practices are consistently applied and properly documented
• Support management with employee relations and disciplinary matters
• Prepare and maintain disciplinary documentation, performance records, and other HR records
• Provide general HR support to employees and management
• Assist with employee performance reviews and workplace concerns
• Maintain confidential personnel files and HR records
• Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and workplace requirements
• Support the growth of the hotel by helping create organized and consistent HR processes

Required Qualifications

• Previous human resources experience preferred
• ADP experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and employment policies
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information professionally and confidentially
• Comfort working independently while collaborating closely with hotel management
• Hospitality, restaurant, or hotel HR experience a plus

Schedule and Location

• Part-time, on-site at The Miners 1928 Hotel in Pottsville, PA
• Schedule can be structured around approximately 2–3 days per week or shorter 3–4 hour shifts up to 5 days per week
• Schedule will be discussed to match the needs of the hotel and the selected candidate

Compensation

USD 20–26 per hour (part time).
